The assembly of gear mechanism MK-G and MK-G/R

Two types of gear mechanism are available in the offer:

  • left type MK-G/L,
  • right type MK-G/R.

Additional items needed to mount the gear mechanism:

1. Mill template SF-G

2. Mill Ø 11.7 mm F11,7-G

3. Press tool for safety ring PNP-G

 

Assembly

Reduce the height of the pivot in the end cap to 8.5mm [2] height using template (SF-G) and mill (F11,7-G) [1].

Insert the rubber disc brake [3] on the end cap and then gear mechanism bracket with positioning bushes [4].

Tamp the clamping plate (for exmple using hammer) on the end cap pivot using press tool for safety ring (PNP-G) [5]. Pay attention to block all the clamping plate teeth on the pivot. Then insert the gear mechanism [6].

Put the protective cap [7], and then turn it with a firm motion to protect the gear mechanism [8].

Note: The axle in the properly installed Cardan joint (PC-G 45 i PC-G 90) should be guided simultaneously through two positioning bushes.

Note: Follow the rule presented in the following figures to correctly select the type of gear mechanism (left or right).
